Mukbang ASMR
Mukbang (먹방) is a broadcast in which the subject eats food and interacts with an audience. It is now a world wide trend but it first became popular in South Korea. There is no set food that needs to be consumed during a Mukbang video, it can be what ever the subject wants.
It first became popular on AfreecaTV but you can also find many videos on Youtube. The live streaming website Twitch also has an eating section there where users can watch and interact live with content creators doing their own Mukbang streams.
The cross over with ASMR can come from enjoying watching the user completing a task and concentrating. A lot of people find the sounds of eating, relaxing and tingle inducing.
